Relics & Rods is a non-profit organization and the proceeds from our Run to the Sun Car show goes back to our community in the form of scholarships, community projects and contributions to worthy organizations and individuals in need.  Over the past years Relics & Rods has donated over $300,000 from the proceeds generated by our Run to the Sun car show.

2018

Heather Crawford of Salvation Army Center accepts a $750 donation from Vicki Hart and Mike White.

 

Bette Cram presents a $1,000 donation to Dan Mathews and Kelly Parks of Hospice of Havasu’s Polidori House in memory of Ralph Cram.

 

Linda Seaver, executive director of Havasu Community Health Foundation, accepts a donation of $1,000 from Diana and Todd Flesner.

 

Tom Hopple presents Linda Seaver from Havasu Community Health Foundation a check for $500. This helps support the foundation’s effort to promote suicide awareness and prevention.

 

Ginni and Ali present Mohave County Sherriff K-9 Unit a $500 donation.

 

Relics & Rods club members, Lynette Fisher and Will Willis presented a $500 check to Special Olympics. Shelley Wijnhamer, Head of Delegation, accepted the check and they are surrounded by participants in the Special Olympics sports. Our club is able to give back to our community by the support from everyone of our annual Run to the Sun Car Show.

Gordon Sutton presents a check for $1,000 to the Disabled American Veterans.

 

President Ron, wife Gloria along with Vice-President Scott and Treasurer Carol presents Lake Havasu School District Superintendent Diana Asseier with a check for $3,000 to be distributed evenly to our six elementary schools for school supplies.

 

Relics & Rods presented Lepe Pelayo with a $1,000 scholarship he earned.

 

Relics & Rods Supports Troops Overseas. Club President, Ron Duenas and his wife, Gloria, presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to the American Legion Post 81. Our donations are made possible by the community’s continued support of our Run to the Sun car show every October.

 

Bill Swiedarke and Sue Swiedarke present Patty Gillmore-Stecher a check for a $1,000 donation to the Western Arizona Humane Society Building Fund.

 

Relics & Rods Supports Hospice of Havasu. Club members Fred Bennett, Linda Bassett and Dan Mathews presents Kelly Parks with a check for $1,000.

 

Relics & Rods was happy to present H.A.V.E.N. House with a donation of $1,000. Presenting the check are club members Janina Robertson and Marilyn Stiller. Donations to local charities are made possible from the proceeds of our annual Run to the Sun.

 

Relics & Rods is happy to donate $1,000 to Heather’s Closet. Proceeds from our annual Run to the Sun make it possible to give back to our community.

2017

Relics & Rods was happy to present a check for $1,000 to the Silent Witness Program. Donations such as these are possible because of our community’s support of our yearly Run to the Sun Car Show. Presenting the check are club members Todd & Diana Flesner.

 

Relics & Rods of Lake Havasu is happy to present a check for $1,000 to Haven Family Resource Center. Presenting the check are club members Peggy Ryerson & Paul Hamilton. The club wishes to thank all the participants & spectators of our Run to the Sun Car Show held every October. Funds raised from our car show enable us to continue giving back to community in the form of donations.

 

Relics & Rods are happy to supposed our community’s Parks & Recreation programs by donating $2,000.
